At long last I am compiling an XBR FAQ.

Click HERE for details.

Please take the time to answer the questions and send them back to me.

Are you going to publish your own answers?

Number 20 will be interesting:

Q:How often do you use the kick start?

A: Depends which German Hotel carpark I'm in  ;D

I'm still surprised the KS ratchet didn't need replacing after that, it must have been 200 kicks. I think that's what charged the battery and got it going in the end!

I hadn't forgotten that  ::)

I am still a little guilty about having you and Tim give me a tour of that industrial estate trying to get the bastard to bumpstart. All, I suspect, for the sake of a tarpaulin. The bike had spent the night under a convering of snow and moisture had got everywhere.

I never did find the definitive answer to the electrical woes that blighted that Elefant Rally ride, but a new wiring loom, HT lead and reg/rect. were needed pretty soon after that and it's been fine since.

Cheers

No worries about the pushing. There are people who think a little exercise wouldn't do me any harm.  :)

Graham, I've sent you some answers to those questions by email. Have you received this, and the earlier email with my new address?
