Stafford Update
« on: October 15, 2007, 05:47:03 AM »
Only four days to go. Everything is ready. The only downside at the moment is that we will not have the marquee this year - lets hope it doesn't rain!

If you are bringing a bike for the stand you need to go up on to the balcony via the access ramp. Our stand is straight ahead at the top, and we are in the angle of the first turn right, B111.

I will take my mobile, and possibly even turn it on - 07971 051266, just in case of difficulties.

See you all soon.

All being well I will be there Friday lunchtime and if I can I will be bringing a small tent for me to sleep in and a larger frame tent for socialising.

I'll be there around lunchtime.

As I've not done Stafford before, are there any facilities for exhibitors on site after hours (food beer etc) ? or do I need to bring a weekend's worth of pot noodle!!

Also ( and far more importantly) Is there likely to be a TV anywhere as theres a certain rugby match on saturday night....... ;)

A multi-burst reply:

Bruce if you could bring a frame tent of some description that would make the evening more entertaining. I will pack my Jiko and some charcoal to keep us entertained and toasty.

The site opens at noon and I intend to be there around that time.

Ken give me a call when you get there and, if I still have it, I will get a ticket to you!

See you all soon.........

In your first entry on this string you noted your phone number 'in case of difficulties'

It's just that I have this problem.....ahem.......

Thanks for the offer of bikes but I think we are sorted in that department, and it will probably be a pain to get bikes in and out once the show is open.

Bruce
Will make an extra effort to get monies to you for the grub. Will bring my BBQ, but charcoal seems a bit thin on the ground at the moment, will have my petrol stove as another back-up.

If your sister is beautiful and/or wealthy, and is offered on a 'try-before-you-buy' basis, I might be interested!!!!
