i thought i'd post it here first,

92 350 enfield for sale, quite tatty but very good runner. guaranteed first kick starter.
about 9 months mot, looks the part with all excess crap taken off. very reliable.
does need brake shoes front & rear and rear wheel bearings. the valve gear rattles but she does run well.  just fancy a change after 3 years.

£400, london/esssex

i`m not so concerned about the left foot break , more about shifting down instead of breaking  ;D

 ;D ;D ;D

I ran the Triton - rhs change up for up, lhs rear brake  - and the RD500 - rhs rear brake lhs change, up for down -  alongside each other for a year or two and the only time I was caught out was sat at a junction on the RD5 and snicking it all the way in to top, and then trying to pull out - bleeeegggg clunk, red face, kick, ring-a-ding-a-ding and off in a pall of blue smoke.  I do not think it is really that much of a problem, and the way your body works you are actually better off braking rhs front lhs rear - just like all proper bikes used to be before the US market got all sniffy.

i know what you mean about it being better with lhs brake. i think that when stopping quickly with both brakes on one side you tend to lean a bit to that side.

i don't tend to get confused when swapping from bike to bike. it's quite hard to confuse a cbr600 with a 350 bullet, there are certain subtle differences between the ride.....

I rode Steffans Bullet and nearly put it in a hedge !!!!

Left Foot Change....I ask you !

So used to mine, even though I use it once in a Blue Moon I have no problem using Right Foot Change.
Got on Steffs..sounds like a Bullet,Feels like a Bullet so naturally tried using me Left Foot to brake !

Bike is now sold.

she's gone to someone who has previously owned two enfields so he should know better by now.
