Hi matey mail me your membership number or full name and I can amend your profile. Some who paid by cheque slip through the net as forum user names differ from whats on the application form. Address is; squirrelciv@sky.com

Nice to meet you BTW and no suprise your Dommie won, it was a cracking example of a cracking bike (I voted for it BTW :-) )

I'm glad you all enjoyed the rally and got home safely. I was extremely jealous, on Saturday night particularly, thinking of all that Aviator going begging. I booked the time off work and, for the most part, didn't waste it - but I know where I would rather have been over the weekend. Never mind, hopefully Mr. Hilliard will get that Sou'western meet organised for later in the year.

Very jealous and sorry I couldn't make it this year, sounds like it was a belter! Had an unavoidable appointment with 40,000 kids and leaders in Essex(!)
Not only that but the little darlings have left me with the "Jamboree Flu" (sniff cough)   :(
Normal service resumed soon...
All the best,
Smudge

Hope you had a good time smudge. One of my ex scouts went for the week and Alice my daughter went for a day. Would have liked to have gone as well but couldn't get the time off.

We all get Heavier as we get Older because there is a lot more information in our heads

Yeah it was pretty good, knackering, but good. I was working in the Amatuer Radio Team, how cool is this:
http://www.g6lvb.com/GB100JISS.wmv

The station had the special event callsign GB100J and we contacted over 100 countries I believe and made over 4,000 contacts (not seen the final log yet so these numbers are educated estimates)
:)

edited to add... the video clip is of the link up we managed with the International Space Station to let the Scouts ask an astronaut questions :)
