Erm... the wire wheels may or may not be standard for that bike but mine certainly had them as stock... the seat has been modded though and the bars are totally different from standard, oh and these aren't the original indicators or rear shocks! Anything I missed? ;)

There seems to be an M7 A4 stainless nut on the left side silencer bracket (original was A3) and the right hand front indicator bulb is Hella not Bosch. Also, the oil was changed.

Do I qualify to stand about at classic bike events now? ;-)

Ahh well spotted old boy, I see they've changed the tyres for some with grip.. and brake pads that work in the rain! tsk tsk, another classic lost etc etc drone drone :P
Thank heavens no-one I've found in this club can keep a straight face when saying things like that :D

Tell you what, if you want to stand around at classic bike events then can I come with you, then you can stand next to a manx or something and say in a loud voice "yeah mine was rubbish 'till I threw away that old iron engine and fitted a nice reliable japanese one", I'll take the photos and then we can both take turns on the CPR untill the ambulances arrive ;)

If you look closely they have not got the right benzine to octane ratio in the petrol..

Used to toy with the idea of a monoshock on the Triton

Was told that the V50 Guzzi front end was 'wrong' too.  Its a BLOODY bitsa...

A man after my own heart. The Bonneville got me into this wind up. Old boys would rush to see when they first came out, then say something about it not been real. You then whip the scot oiler bottle out of the tank bag, spray a pool under the engine and ask if that looks better!
