Just a bit of positivity

Just thought I’d share my thoughts with everyone on the TC site about how much I’m enjoying getting out as Much as possible in this glorious weather. I’ve racked up approximately 1500 miles on the little RS250 with the rebuilt engine slotted in. Absolutely loving it. Plus it turns heads and gets people talking/asking about it pretty much everywhere I park it. Amazing really, considering they weren’t as popular as the super dream back in the day. I certainly DID’NT get anyone asking me about mine back in the early 80’s 🤣
Anyway that’s my positive thought of the day
Enjoy this weather while you can…. It almost certainly won’t last much longer 😏

Thank you Michael for that little reminder that our attitude is important. I'm a cold loving person, but have also been out every day of this lovely summer enjoying the sun and fab views of the countryside. I'm pleased to hear you are enjoying the RS, small engined bikes can be such fun and are a real shot in the eye against the ego warriors who just want to let you know how much bhp they have and how much their cockwagon cost. Keep it up and I will have a grin on my face too every time I go out on Sid the Enfield.

P.S. I'm doing my bit for water conservation by not washing Sid. Obviously I rarely wash him anyway, but now I can feel virtuous.

It's refreshing to hear some good news Michael.
I'm with you on the dry weather. I've been trying to get out into the countryside on my bikes as much as possible even though on some days it has been a bit on the hot side. I do find as I age I'm less tolerant and extremes of weather are no exception.
Some of you may have seen on the media the fires which have been devastating parts of my home town of Stourbridge. I only live less than a mile from where the fires have been burning so am very  grateful so far to have been spared from these totally random and but incredibly destructive events which have impacted on others . At least our community seems to be rallying round to help those affected and to thank the emergency services and locals who have put others before themselves in taking action to mitigate the effect of the fires.
