Hi all
I had a few days away this week on Sid my 350 Enfield and on the way home from other bits of Yorkshire I popped in to Eddy's Moto in Tadcaster. Apparently it is the biggest selling Royal Enfield dealer in the UK and stocks Enfield (obviously) and BSA motorcycles as well as having some lovely British, Italian and Japanese classics for sale. Classics ranged from 70s Bonnevilles and Honda fours to a pre-Great War Triumph single flat-tanker.
I can't vouch for their work clearly as I just visited, but I was greeted warmly, offered a cuppa, was impressed by their reasonable prices and the whole place had an air of being a proper bike shop. No shiny spotlamps, lots of interesting bike stuff hanging from the walls and a general feeling that they ride and love bikes. The guy I spoke to (maybe Eddy himself) had attended to classic bike night the previous night at Squires Cafe just up the road in Sherburn-in-Elmet.
Very well worth a ride there if you're looking for a place to go to just enjoy a little time with people who love bikes not corporate images!
