Just joined the site and wishing to say hello to all out there. I live in Launceston Tasmania Australia and race a Yamaha SRX600 in Clubman  and Historic 500+ classes here in Tassie. The bike was imported from Japan as an ex One make race series bike from the early nineties. Engine is standard apart from a high compression piston, 42mm Mikuni Flatslide carburettor and custom exhaust. All roadgoing equipment has been removed and 17" wheels from a Yamaha FZR400 have been fitted along with FZR 400 disc and Brembo caliper. I run Bridgestone RS10 tyres.

Welcome to the club silverback, cracking looking bike you have, look forward to hearing more on your racing exploits over the coming months. Once toured Tasmania back in 1993, although that was on a mountain bike, not a motorbike sadly.
Anyway welcome on board and I’m sure some of the other members will be along shortly to hi. There’s some clued up yam “specialists “ on here so should you need the odd helping hand you will hopefully not have to go to far.... cheers, Michael
