Aye SteveL,
Further to previous missive!
Part numbers:
Spring, compression: 90501043EO
Ball: 9350308007
Seat, check ball: 5831311300
Have looked in dismantled motor and these bits are housed in the lower righthand side of the outer right crankcase cover!! Not in the right crankcase body as the diagram on the web site suggests.
When I rebuilt Sally the internal bonded seal on the end of the 'Seat, check ball', between it and the the mating surface of the main crankcase was in good nick. After holding ball down with screw driver and blowing through from inside to out of case to clear any sh1t with airline, applied lips to other side and blew to check ball was sealing against seat. All OK.Just applied a smear of black 'Gorilla snot' to ensure seal on re-assembly, yet not clog up the ball!!!!!!!!!
Would suggest you do same. If ball not sealing, then maybe after procuring new parts (XT600 maybe same numbers!) a self tapper screw of suitable diameter in through seat could be used to remove it, afore pressing new seat, using vice, into position with new ball and spring.
Also, by clearing 'popup' blocker I can read parts lists on SteveH site!! Numpty at the controls, nothing wrong with site!:-)
Hope this helps. Greene King LPA please! ;-)
Regards, Bill
