Iansoady, someone is going to get a "bargain" then if thats the case. I think we have all spent mucho drongo on a bike then realised we have gone past the point of no return.
Dont think I will be bidding but perhaps I will wait till after its not sold then make a silly offer

I know what you mean. Sometimes the "sunk costs" fallacy applies: I've already spent £5,000 on this thing and would only get £3,000 back so I need to spend another £5,000. Of course that only adds £2,000 to the "value".

Then again chaps, some people don't do it for the money but for the enjoyment of building something fairly unique and to their own personal style/tastes. Then at the end they get the true feeling of fulfilment. 😉.. cheers, Michael
