NX650 Stteet Tracker
« on: May 06, 2016, 03:05:09 PM »
From Practical Sportsbikes.

There's also "Bikes of Your Life" feature detailing a gent's 64 bikes in 51 years. His current XBR is 2nd favourite to a CB450.
Also an article about Suzi 350 Goose which references the XBR and Suzi ST400 Tempter. Not having seen the latter before, I must say it's pretty tasty!

Hi matt, yes I was looking at this bike the other day (in the mag I mean) whilst shopping in asda. I personally think it looks a tad disjointed, somehow the tank looks to small. Not taking anything away from the build quality etc, looks like a nice build just a little disjointed IMHO
Cheers..Michael
Ps....maybe I shud hang fire with my opinions until I've finished my XBR based street tracker. Ya mite all be shooting me down in flames :) :) :)

Far too modest - you've got form with that gorgeous CR!

Hey Michael, I like street trackers and I love the thought of an XBR Street Tracker  8) Do you have any pictures of the project so far? Cheers, Steve.  ;)

Morning chaps, thanks for the compliment Matt on my (now expired :'( :'( CR) although I will be building a replacement at some point now I have most of the bits required.
Unfortunately Steve no real photo,s as yet of my street tracker build, to be honest not that much to see yet. It came to a bit of a standstill due to a guy letting me down big time on some CNC machined parts he was supposed to be doing for me. That's another story, more for the rant section,  then obviously with my accident happening I have'nt had the drive or the strength to do that much until fairly recently. I have now got the bit between my teeth to get it pushed on and finished for October to hopefully be able to take it down to the stafford show and have it on the thumper club stand (Gareth???) the engine is done and ready to slot in, shud be a corker too. Anyway better shoot, the workshop is calling me ;) ;)
Cheers...Michael
