Its what a Thumper is for.
« on: April 02, 2016, 07:33:22 PM »
A spin up a B road  in the Co. Antrim hills, on the way to the first road race of the year, the Mid Antrim 150.
So, the question in tonights quiz, is, what is the landmark in pic, and what is its significance?

Keep researching Steve  ;)
And I can't understand why it hasn't sold either  :-\ I've had 2800 views on Gumtree, and one phonecall, in which the caller basically said he would only look at the bike if I was the original or second owner! So I've taxed it again and will use it until it sells. Its a great bike for the money.

Slemish? ( home of St Patrick while captive in Ireland)

Sometimes, I wish it was Aires Rock, just for a bit of their dry climate. Steve, go to the top of the class and give out the pencils  ;) For it is indeed Slemish, a volcanic plug on the Antrim Plateau. Famous for being the place where St Patrick, banished all the snakes from Ireland. (It must be true, as we don't have any snakes, unless you count most of our politicians  :-\

There's a local volcano missing it's plug?! :-\   Bit like a straight through exhaust then?
