Cheating - CB250RS ETC
« on: April 13, 2015, 09:07:10 PM »
A friend has just bought a 1960s CT90. He notes that he can buy a brand new Chinese engine to go straight in.

So I'm thinking, I wonder if anything pops straight in to the250RS?

Or even better, wonder if anyone is copying the engine...cheap source of "NOS" parts for it? I know, build quality may not be same. But it's a nice daydream!

There seemed to be the odd FT500-engined RS too. XL and FT engines as elderly as RS now! Though XL replacement cams more widely available (Megacycle etc).

I'm quite happy with 250cc in there (I've got other bikes), just wished the top end was in as good nick as the rest of the bike!
