I ran a couple of XBRs.
One with a 2-1 front pipe and several different silencers,therefore different weights.
All without the bracket at the frame rail......never had a problem !
And the early VF750s were Bloody Awful !!!! Total *******e !

And just to confirm- I have had Hondas over the last 38 years- and they are and were great- they just had a bit of blip around this time and perhaps overengineered there way out of dark place
and if anyone still has doubts- 10 year warranty from us who have been in this market for nearly 40 and intend to stay!
