rfvc 600 and 650 heads & pistons.

ive just dry built a rfvc 650 bottom end with xl600r barrel and twin carb head.
the xl piston is coming past the lip of the barrel by 1.5mm.i was going to order the je 102.4mm h/c piston but do i order it for the xr 600 or the 650?
anybody know?

You need the xr piston as the small end drilling is 1.5mm lower, alternatively you could make a spacer plate to go under the barrel to lift it
