A good day...
« on: October 31, 2010, 05:38:18 PM »
Well today I finally managed all the bits, garage space, and time, to put the repaired fairing/new frame etc back onto my MZ traveller.
A slow fiddly job, took most of the day on and off to get the panels all lined up and everything tidy, but it looks great and I just need to repair the fairing inner panel and she's back to how I want her.

Like the title says, a good day, and a reminder why I spend time and money messing around with bikes and thumpers in particular. Hope some of you other Thumperers had an equally good day, now for a dram and relax  :)

Dont know if mine was a good day or not   :-\. Went to a bike show at Great Malvern..... Didnt win anything, spent a lot of time walking around the jumble ...god they want a lot of money for what is essentially junk now..Im beginning to get disillusioned about my next project. Ah well theres always the next jumble.

btw..the bike that won tha post 80s section was..... an MZ Traveller. (I will enclose a photo later on) He was selling the bike too! (£725...is that a good price?)

If it's in nice condition and sensible mileage I'd say it's a hell of a lot of bike for that sort of money!
But I may be biased...  ;)

Aye Smudge,

Good to read a 'good day'!

No bikes here, trapped nerves at the base of the skull and a visit to the osteopath to free them off, has left I sore!

Watched Estoril tonight, all three races, all as daft as brushes!  :o :o :o :o ;D

Cleaned the gutters, filled in the water supply trench, raked up a load of leaves, cleaned the gutter on the A85, so that the water doesn't come in the drive and Jim stopped by for his customary chat and photo session.

I also received these images from another man in Bonnybridge!  :-X

FLEXI FRAME!!!!!!!!!!!! :o

BRAKES? Just use the compression!!!!!!!!!!! ;D ;D ;D

I hope you enjoy this beastie.  :)

My regards, Bill.
