I was working in one of Cardiff's less salubrious areas yesterday and I heard a big British thumper being ragged up and down a back lane. I could hear blokes chatting about it saying things like "have you tried the advance retard?". This obviously raised my interest so I went for a look. To my dismay the back lanes in that area are now gated and locked
I may never find out what it was.
I can see the advantage of locked lanes, my (open) back lane often has a little cluster of cannabis smokers huddled under the porch of one garage. What;s even more annoying is that if you have the temerity to use the lane they look at you as if you are trespassing on
their property
