Nice to see one of Doctor Rod's there.

Really sorry to hear of his passing - a great man indeed IMHO.

Taken from the Classic Motorcycle Mechanics site -

"It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rod Gibson. Rod, who edited Classic Motorcycle Mechanics for five years, has been battling health problems for the last couple of years. He passed away peacefully at home yesterday evening. Our sincere condolences go to Angie and all of his family.

Please send any letters of condolence or cards for the attention of Angie Wright to Mortons Media Group Ltd, Media Centre, Morton Way, Horncastle,
Lincs, LN9 6JR.

Further details are to follow shortly."

Great shame. I'd also heard he was unwell but didn't realise it was that serious. Met him
a couple of times - nice bloke.  :(

Yep, met him at Stafford a couple of times. Found him to be very down to earth and a genuine bike enthusiast. Sad news :'(

A lady from the Kawasaki Z1 club will be collecting for the chosen charity at Uttoxeter this weekend.
