Martyn Peters and myself went to that same location during our trip to Norway 2006 - Pulpit Rock I think it's called in English. It really is as extreme as it looks! I didn't see any base jumpers when I was there, but Martyn was luck enough to see some http://www.thumperclub.com/photos/2006/mp_norway2006_15.jpg.

Yeah I sailed up that same Fjord last year and was watching the guys 'fly' from the top of the rocks whilst having a beer moored up on the yacht on the mooring at the end.
If I'm not working I'll be away on my bike camping!

OMG. I just don't have the guts to throw myself off the cliff as I am too scared, though I quite fancy the flying bit, so how does that work?? Looks awesome - better than any Bond movie as its very very real (isn't it?).
