I'd forgotten about this, we were arsing around in the deserted café area of the Le Mans racetrack musuem. A grand day out.

We really should organise another club French sortie.

Don't you just love automated censorship? We can't say Arsenal or arsenic but GC can be arsing around all day without being censured... amazing  ::)

I'm so glad big brother is there to prevent us from becoming too cocksure about our use of language!  ;)

All being well I,m off to France in June this year firstly to a D Day rally but I understand that my Norton may be to "modern" to be allowed on to main camping field. Then on to Near St Malo for the Triton Club of France Rally the following weekend.

In that case I think you should go for the purposes of showing off. Go show 'em just how well electric lights and brakes that don't work on the rim work  ;D

We did the full ride of the Invasion beaches on the Bonneville in 2005. It's well worth the run, especially the museum at Pegasus Bridge. If you fancy something most people don't see there is the German Ossiary off the Mont St. Michael road. Obviously different in style to the US/British/French memorials, in many ways it's more centred round the individuals.

I'd recommend the 360o cinema above Arromanches (near teh American beaches). They show a moving film about the landings. Simon, Boyd and I stoped off there on our first TC French trip.
