SteveD has asked me to let you know that he has booked the same bunk house as last year for Friday the 8th of Feb.Anybody who wants a bed should contact him ASAP,I presume it will be first come first served.

I spoke to my room mate for the night Simon Morgan and he echoed my thoughts by saying if there is enough TC interest in Llanberis then he would consider cancelling the room we have booked in Betsie.

The nice thing about last year was how laid back it was, it was a very pleasant stop-over, made more so by Martyn and Boyd's uannounced arrival.

Steve D tells me that Pete's Eats have bought the property opposite the café and have turned it into a tapas bar. So, on three corners of the crossroads you have a pub, restaurant, café and bunkhouse. Can't be a bad thing.

So, who's up for Llanberis?

To confirm we have the following persons down for accommodation at Petes Eats Llangollen

Both double bedded rooms have been taken by Gareth/Liz and Rick + 1

This leaves just one place in the bunkhouse which accommodates just 9

In conversation with the person at Petes Eats they apparently have accommodation for 19 over the road at their new place but this would need to be confirmed if we need to get extra places.

Great! I finally manage to get booked into ByC and bam Steve arrives and the half the crew is off decamping to Llanberris

Yes, same thing for me, but my brother managed to convince the hotel owner that we could have our deposits back so Llanberis it is. We'll miss wandering around the Betsie shops, but it was a great night in Llanberis last year and we are pleased to be doing it again. And the cost difference was a clincher.

No chance of a change of plan for you?

Just to clarify, the Rick who is coming is not Rick Sharpe, it's Rick, my brother's mate, who broke down enroute last year.

Steffan,where are you staying in Betws?There are six of us booked into the Glan Aber bunkhouse so no need to be sitting in a pub on your own

The bunkhouse at Petes' Eats now appears to be booked now but I talked to someone at the place this morning and he gave me the details of the other accommodation across the road at the Tappas bar which comprises :Flat 1 one double and two bunkbeds, Flat 2 one double room and seven single beds. He could not confirm availability but gave me the number across the road if we need to obtain further accommodation.
