or at least it would be if it wasn't for the fact that I've repaced both the frame and engine since then  ::)

The 650 lump (pictured) is going back in though. My experience with the 500 has proved conclusively that with a heavy vehicle a bigger engine is more efficient than an underpowered engine.

p.s. and what floppy hair I had  :o  Mind you I had the lot taken off yesterday. I like to think of a scalping as a VFM haircut: Value For Money. With luck I won't be going back to the barbers for another couple of months.

What is this, the Hairdressers Discussion Group??!  Stop this namby-pamby nonsence GC!  You should be discussing the rugged authenticity of your leather gauntlets, or the "Fashion? I Dont Care For Fashion?!" aspect of your (IMHO rather fetching) shirt.

And your stance would suggest you're waiting for a Jethro to come along at any minute

I think we all do go for VFM. After all, this is a singles club with affection for simplicity and frugality in our steeds.
