Cadwell Park, a new shiny bike and a B31

Hello Thumpeteers

Went to the VMCC meeting at Cadwell last Sunday and it was a thumper lovers delight. Not only were there Manxes, Goldies and Velos racing but there were also several SR500s, a KTM 690 and a Rudge or two. In attendance there was also a 1930s P&M and a Guzzi Falcone. Excellent day.

The shiny new bike and the B31 are sadly not mine. My wife has treated herself to a new bicycle! About time as Elsie her previous one is a 1950s Triumph.

Two days after Cadwell my mate rang me with the opening line "It's your fault". Upon enquiring what I had done this time he told me he had been reminded of how much he loved B31s so had bought an ex Auxiliary Fire Service B31. I explained as it is my fault I have to ride it, a lot.
