Guy Martin in the SSDT
« on: May 31, 2016, 03:20:56 PM »
I know some here are not keen on Guy Martin but I see from the current Classic Motorcycle that he managed to finish the Scottish Pre-65, riding an Ariel (which looks very standard from the pic in the magazine). He came home last - the 157th finisher.

I used to ride an Enfield Bullet in pre-65 trials and I know just what hard work these old bikes are. So I say congratulations to him - I look forward to seeing the TV programme!

10 out of 10 for effort...   I won't criticise anyone who is prepared to plough their own furrow in this increasingly bland and regulated world.
good lick to him

Good man Guy, that's what I say. I find him a breath of fresh air, and highly entertaining  :)
