Cheap day at the races.
« on: April 23, 2016, 10:12:10 PM »
Spent a very pleasant lazy afternoon at the Tandragee 100 road races today. A spot in the main stand, overlooking the start/finish was a Lady Gidiver for the whole day. Now, that is good value  :) I don't understand why some people begrudge buying a programme at a tenner, as how else are these events funded. Anyway, big crowds today, dry weather, and some seat of the pants racing. Roll on next weekend, and the Cookstown, which some of you lucky Thumpeteers, may well be visiting  ;)

Saw a "trident/rocket 3" converted to a vee six at the show. Lovely bit o work. Very impressive.

The hrc road legal rcv was there as well. Stunning.

One of my favourites tho was an early guzzi single in a seeley frame. There was some nice stuff over in the race bike section.
