The long way home
« on: April 24, 2015, 11:08:54 AM »
The weather here in North Notts has been fabulous these last few days so rather than my usual direct 17 mile route home from work I have been making a longer journey of it. I follow a series of country roads and clock up about 30 miles in total, all at about 4.30pm when the trafic is light and the sun glorious.

It more than makes up for the miserable winter commutes with rain and freezing temperatures when some days even 17 miles can seem endless. My SR400 is just the tool for the job too, light and manouverable and torquey enough to be great fun at country roads speeds.

Long may it llast.

Here here smithy, let's hope so. Got a four day trip up to the Scottish Borders in approx 4weeks time along with my bro and a mate. All on B roads, really looking forward to that so I hope it holds out (the weather I mean not my bike) at least until then. cheers Michael
