Winter project progress
« on: March 28, 2013, 04:54:51 PM »
I posted sometime in November that I would be starting on my jet bike project.
Progress has been very slow, and I was hoping that by now I would have had the engine in a rolling chassis, but finding information and parts for a 60 year old jet engine was very difficult, however I managed to scrounge a manual and picked quite a few wise old heads for information and have started reassembly.
I still have to fit all the oil and air pipe work but thats another job. Before and after pics. I thought you might like to see my progress

Look's like something from 'Jules Vern's' 20000 leagues under the sea.
