At the Lincoln Steam Rally last year a chap in the model tent had made this model of a Suzuki GSX750 - it took him 15 winters!!

My blurry pictures don't even start to do it justice, every single part of the bike is scratch built, he even moulded the correct tyres for the year! It really did look like someone had put the bike in front of a miniturisation ray!

A GS750, they would have been a nice bike when he started it. ;D

I believe that this model was at Stafford Show a couple of years ago, sat on top of the real thing....I will have to see if I can dig a photo of "them" out.
What patience tho....anyone who can build an "airfix" type model is good but producing this quality from scratch is out of this world.

This is a man who spent 15 years building a model of his bike, he's not going to glue the little plastic man on top  >:( ...

.....he's probably cloning a 'mini me' of himself as we speak!! ;)

theres a website somewhere, i will try and find it, of a guy whoi is building a 2/3rds size replica of a douglas fore and aft twin, from scratch, every component made by hand, right down to the spark plugs which took him a week, but he is building this one to run, its taken him years to get it where he is. his website has all his drawings on it. stunning work.
