Here's one i bought recently, 'Once a Jolly Swaggman'. A 1948 speedway film, all filmed at New Cross stadium. You should see the size of the crowds! Why isn't speedway so popular anymore, i f'n love it!
Main character played by Dirk Bogarde. Also features 'Compo', ie Bill Owen, Thora Hird and Sid James. Bit corny, very predictable, but of its time, nominated for a BAFTA.
