POTD 9th March

Ahhh, memories. Schoorl Single Cylinder rally in Holland.

The bottle is 'Oud Bruin' a nice dark beer that Jethro and I really enjoyed until the locals informed us that it was primarily drunk by OAPs and pregnant women.

The green travel mug was a veteran of countless camping trips and met an untimely demise in the infamous Elefant Rally Conflagration of 2006, burnt beyond recognition.

The tent is my faithful old Saunders Jetpacker that I bought for a bike trip in 1988. It was still in such good condition that I sold it for £70 in 2008. By the time this photo was taken it had become a bit cramped for a man of my, erm, stature. However, in 1988 this tent was shared every night with my then girlfriend. The tent must have shrunk eh?  ;)
