Well, that nails it i reckon.

delivered the bike to X Bikes (see them here http://www.xbikes.cc/home/ )
will be on the dyno first thing tomorrow

while it's there they will re-machine the caliper mount (they have a full machine shop there, in their spare time they make lovely thumb brakes!.....wonder if i can blag one :-) )

yes Andy, the pads are only 2/3 engaged....not sure what happened there.

X Bikes reckon they can get the CR 37's working....seem to know what they are up to, so i'm taking them along with me in the morning....should be fun.

Fun it was!

The old supermono bucking and backfiring while strapped to the dyno, then the dyno starter motor burnt out!
field windings fried!

so, a weeks wait for it to be repaired, and they may not want the big banger back on it again, the dynojet dyno is from the states, and thats where the part is coming from...

see them here http://www.xbikes.cc/home/

So you won't be changing the flat top piston for a big, high CR one then??!!   :D

Wow!!  Burnt out the starter on the dyno eh...?!  2 steps forward, one step back.

At least it now just about runs.  Just about reliably.  Just about!

Cheers mate
