It's hard to say what caused it. The premises were only vacated a week ago, but I have to confess I don't know if the business had ceased trading before that. I'm trying to get an engineer out to cap the gas feed and take the boiler off the wall. Perhaps then we can get a clearer picture.
I was confused when i examined it after the bang and couldn't see any power going to it. However, a friend of mine who is an engineer said that some boilers just kick in on the drop in pressure when a tap is opened. That's some relief because it means i can turn the power back on in the building without having to worry.
I had just got the adrenaline out of my system some four hours later when my youngest, on only his third day of riding without stabilisers, rode straight off a path and down a four foot vertical drop into a brook

He's unscathed, but my heart rate went mental for the second time today. I'm going to bed... nothing too exciting happens there
