Site glitch
« on: January 10, 2010, 10:12:08 AM »
Steve H - I clicked on the PPOTD thumb and got a huge list of error messages like this:
warning: Missing argument 4 for createImgLink(), called in /home/srx600/public_html/drupal/includes/common.inc(1685) : eval()'d code on line 56 and defined in /home/srx600/public_html/drupal/modules/thumperclub/inc/thumpergalleryutils.php on line 95.

Then I came back out and clicked again on the thumb and got a shorter list and the POTD was displayed. However, the previous POTD thumbs were not displayed (not even a missing image icon) although the dates were displayed.

I'm also getting some page drawing issues. With the neat new boxes (personal messages, latest image) displayed in the top left of the screen it moves my forum screens to the right, but I'm not getting a scroll bar option to view the full page. I had to expand the browser window to view the page. Also, when modifying a post I used the preview option and it did display the modified post, but this then pushed the 'Save' "preview' and 'spell check' buttons off the bottom of the screen and I couldn't scroll down to them.

Using:
Mac OS X, Firefox browser, idiot in the chair.

POTD should be fixed now.
For the time being you are better off viewing the forum through the old site, I have created a suitable SMF theme which seems to work I'll think about enabling it. Problem is everyone will have to use it and since it removes the menus from the left hand side it will make site navigation tricky.

Cheers for that Steve, POTD is indeed fixed and i was able to pick up the one from two days ago to add it to the POTD thread (which is what I was trying to do in the first place).

As for the other sizing/viewing problems, they are nowhere near bad enough to stop me using the site so I will carry on with the new look.
