I agree Richard. Discovered Crabbies Ginger Beer a few weeks back. Nice pint and very easy on the taste buds.
Can't go wrong with Badgers Poachers ale either. A fine winter beer.
Now that the nights are closing in will be investigating a few dark beers and Porters.

Perhaps we can keep a real ale thread going?

Rob .

Had a pint of the club signature beer last night... Old Thumper!... very nice.  ;)

Snap, had a pint of Old Thumper meself last night.

Blanford Fly....would that be best for Salmon or Trout? Went fly fishing the other day, caught a 12lb blue bottle.

Blandford fly is superb.

Harviestoun Old Engine oil is very nice as well. Funny enough I've been doing the Old Thumper as well.

Recommend marstons{?} Double Chocolate. Very nice this time of year.

Just got back from the pub and enjoyed a couple of pints of HRD Rapide.  No idea of the brewery.

Nice line drawing on the pump though.
