 ??? I can't remember when I last signed up?

Do we get a reminder when it's due?

If not, how do we find out if were due?

According to an old newsletter I have membership runs from..
1st January to 31st December.

The cost seems mixed up ?

Internet Membership (12 Months)   £ 6.00
Membership + Newsletter Subscription (12 Months)   £ 20.00

Or on the Application Form ......

Internet + Newsletter Membership @ £ 14.00 (12 Months)

Sorry lads, it's all to cock of late. When Pat took over he and Steve opted to drop the set membership year and go for each member paying full whack and getting a whole 12 months from date of application.

To add to my woes, my recent PC disaster binned all my newer versions of Excel and Word so just reading the latest membership list was impossible for a while. I have downloaded some next-to-free software (OpenOffice - anyone know about it?) that seems to have restored functionality.

I'm doing work on the memberships tonight and over the next week or so.

No one had to pay full wack, they had a choice of internet membership of full membership. We did not make this decision unilaterally, the choice was put to the committee and no one objected.

Sorry, what I meant by full whack was that each new member now pays for a full 12 months regardless of when they joined rather than the old sliding fee scale that we used to use.

Yes you're absolutely right about the committee decision, poor choice of words on my part. What I meant was that you and Pat suggested the change for a variety of sound reasons.
