Guys,

At the AR, several chaps seemed ignorant of our illustrious leaders fine journal detailing the sally-forth to the land of the Gaul. Said tome can be located in the Archives, and if one has not perused it then I'd suggest one casts one's eyes over it. Tis a tale of stout hearted Englishmen, braving the combined menace of both the new fangled "Motor-Cycle" and the benighted land over the "moat".

What-Ho,

Mav (Captain Of The School Soccer team [Retired])

Steady on old thing, there's a limit to numbers in the reading room and we'd rather keep the morning's port and biscuits to ourselves.

I'm all for literacy amongst the plebs, but only for purposes of understanding instruction, not for entertainment. I'd far rather the little missive remained hush hush you know. But thank you for kind words.

Kindest regards to your father, I was his fag once, not at school, but several years after. That's life in the diplomatic corps for you, all sand, gin and buggery, what ho!

p.s. thank you for the lift in the old two seater saturday past.
