My brother is an ungrateful sod

I bought him a nice tent for his birthday and even went as far as to create this fake packaging for it:

Imagine my surprise when, some months later, he said "Oh that tent? I sold it on Ebay".

He's a cheeky bugger :)

When you say 'bought' is that a euphemism for 'found it in a field after the Dragon Rally, then contacted the manufacturer for all the missing parts and a bag'?

Well, I asked for a sidecar for my birthday and received the item now top left in the pictures section. The model for this Postman Pat character is I believe a composite Thumper club member for the following reasons:

1. The bike is obviously a single.
2. Item 1 on the bodging list is a gold mudguard on a red outfit. It was probably fitted on the way to an MOT in 1983 and hasn't been shifted since.
3. The chair looks like a Ural while the bike is brit/jap single, so the two were probably joined in a shed using a (plastic)welder.
4. The outfit is 3x2, but using a solid back axle. In true TC fashion the total lack of any lead on the chair is solved by a caster under the nose of the chair.
5. The goggles are pure black and are probably borrowed from a welding set.
6. His back pockets are sealed shut preventing him carrying any cash.
7. The two halves of the fuel tank are held together with wood screws.

This will not be going on E-bay though, it's going on my desk at work.
