Insurance Discount Shock!

I was very pleasantly shocked when I renewed my insurance cover recently. I had finally taken the plunge in joining the VJMC late last year and remembered to mention this whilst finalising the cover renewal on my bikes through Footman James - having of course scoured the available insurance providers. Was I pleased that I did - the discount (at least for my risks) was almost twice the annual VJMC membership fee so equates to a net bonus of a half tank of petrol.

I had a £4500 settlement from my insurance company for damage from leaking pipes. Come renewal, I nearly didn't bother to ask them for a quote and nearly fell over when they said it was cheaper than the previous year!
