Title: xbr500 alternitive chain guard

Has anyone tried to fit a different chain guard to the XBR, The plastic one looks a bit tatty, I looked at nice chrome one from a CB400 and thought it might fit, anyone with any experiance or ideas

I haven't tried it myself but I seem to remember ages ago someone said that the old Honda 400/4 chain guard went straight on  ....but I suppose they must be like gold plated hen's teeth by now  :-\

Painted my old faded plastic one up with plastic primer and satin black and it came up quite well and so far durable.
