bought a small digital tachometer from ebay, very simple , one wire that wraps around ht lead , tried it on gn250 first to check accuracy and it`s near enough, then tried it on gilera and that seemed about right, so i cable tied it temporarily to the RE to see what sort of rpm that does, i will report back, might try it on the 2cv as well !

The Enfield doesn't work on rpm. It comes from a time before rpm was invented 🤣🤣🤣🤣

bother.. back to counting lamp posts then.. :)

That's the spirit 😉😉👍

Surely an RPH (revs per hour) meter would be more applicable to the Enfield? ;D
-
maybe cph then ?

Or chuffs per hour! ;D Bit like those old 'Hit & Miss' engines! ;)
