eBay advert of an Inter for sale. No, I'm not taking on another 'project'! ;)

yes, I've noticed that - fairly easy to put it into running order but the oil tank may be hard to fix. It'll be interesting to see what it fetches.....
-
It may be an optical illusion, but it looks to me like the frame is bent. :o
-
They all look like that sir.....
If it is, easy enough to straighten with a scaffold pole.
-
I've done that a few times with bicycle frames, but then again I've never done 70mph on a bicycle. Not for the want of trying, I should add. ;D
-
70? A decent Inter should do 90.....
Mind you, your attempts at doing 70 on a pushbike may have contributed to your recent health issues......

Quite possibly Ian, though there is no empirical link between cycling and prostate cancer AFAIK....

What about wearing lycra though Pete, I reckon that could do it.

You could be right Ian, though obviously I'm not a MAMIL anymore, I've now graduated to being an OMIL :(
-
Final bid just short of £12K. Not bad for what would probably be a fairly straightforward rebuild.
-
MMMmmm! Hope the head and barrel castings are servicable after being hammered. Lots of careful checking, as even a few thou off centre to the crank could prove expensive. :-\ I'm still no convinced that the scaffold pole job on the frame will be enough. How ductile are the lugs and steering head? :-\
Could always be given a cosmetic job, with no guts and wheeled around for a Pebble Beach entry! ;D ;D
Toodle pip, Bill
