Having shaken my arms off derusting and sealing the CB200 tank, the tumble dryer has packed up.
Coin stats and door NTC replaced + heating elements tested - all good, drum turns on the motor, just no heat.
I could have stuck my tank in, in a duvet and pressed a button! Dare I ask whether there are any other uses to warrant me keeping it?

I saw someone selling washing machine drums on fb as fire pits...

Aye Brendon,
I have a washing machine drum back, as a large chimmney cowl over my house chimmney pot, keeps the rain a jackdaws out, whilst preventing down draughts and it has lasted well when compared with the aluminium ones that either melt or disintergrate due to the acidity of the smoke! ;) Galvanised steel ones are no better either, the stainless steel back of the drum is the way to go. ;D
They also make flashy planters for bedding plants or you can stack them to make retaining walls like gabion baskets.

Using an old one as a firepit this afternoon, with a tripod over for cooking. Very useful things.

Get that woman from the Money For Nothing TV programme to turn it into a lamp and sell it to a trendy hipster for £500.
Use it as the world's crappest fish tank.
Tell grandchildren it leads to 21st century Narnia and have a quiet day.
Hope this helps.
