spotted these at the nabd rally the other week but forgot to post them here, so if youve not seen them, theyre quite nice chinese built, but then rbuilt in the uk with uk spec bearings batterys etc, the red one is a 400, based on the venerable xbr400 honda derived engine, the others are based on suzukis tu250 motors. looking at them closely, theyre quitee nice things, nothing looks tacky or flimsy on them and, dare i say, they look like they would last well on our salted roads. lots of nice alloy and stainless steel on them.

just in case you think the silver one looks unfinished, this is the view from the other side,

Some of these ‘Chinese ‘ cheapies truly look tasty and make you want to buy them. Shame they always have small engines.

I think they know their market, which is largely older people fed up with lugging great heavy behemoths around. Hang on a minute, that might be me......
-
Must admit, I think they look great. As do the AJS etc
-
Id like them even more if they were a bit more accessible. Emailed them for a test ride and more info....had a reply over a week later saying could I get in touch in 2 weeks time...how the hell do they make any money??

I have spoken to the Herald guys twice now at NEC live and I'm really impressed with them, they are proper motorcyclists who actually go out and ride bikes. They are knowledgeable and enthusiastic and love to talk bike bollox.
Also a mate of mine is a long time bike mechanic who rates Herald as well.
