Pleased to read your posts and see a Sanglas, but not sure that I would be leaping to press the 'Bid' button!

As for the advertiser's comment "Would make interesting cafe racer". Erm! Why would you want to trash a bit of a 'plodder' into a plodding 'caferacer'? The Spanish police didn't exactly use them as 'chase' vehicles, unless to catch Spaniards for overloaded donkeys in more mountainous areas, where the long stroke motor was better suited.  ;)

It`s local to me, and to be honest in the flesh a bit rough, i had a 500 s2v for a while and it was great, when I went to see this one i decided it was worth about £900 , if it`s still there after christmas i might have a daft offer on it...

I remember Motorcycle Sport (before it was about Leisure)  testing one and I think the term would be "damning with faint praise". Mind you, that was probably around the time when if it wasn't a BMW it was rubbish.

I think it's another bike with a vile left foot kickstart.

I’ve seen that thing in the flesh. It’s horrible. I’d rather ride an air compressor!
