Can I mix mineral oil with semi-synthetic oil? Is it safe?

I'm no expert Steve, but my understanding is that Semi-Synth is just a mixture of Synth and Mineral oils anyway, so I can't imagine it would do any harm...

You can mix any combination as long as neither of them is castor oil. But you'll probably combine the worst qualities of both. Any reason why you would want to, or is it just to avoid flushing?
