Title: Posting pictures
Post by: tigcraft on May 14, 2019, 06:29:41 AM
As title! Anyone on here who is successful with posting pics can you tell me the simplest way. I only do mine directly from my iPhone and don’t use fotobucket and suchlike. I did manage to get photos into my messages when editing but it won’t actually load into the paragraphs. Eric

Aye Eric,

Size matters!  ;)

However, as I do not own an iPhone I cannot help with the specifics. But does my attached screen dump image help?  :-\

Others with more nouse than I are able to copy/paste directly into the body of the message, rather than attaching the image, but I am not sure if this affects the space used by the site on the servers!  :-\

SteveH, he who provides the technical servicing of the website, would be best placed to provide this knowledge as it is he who has to 'clean out' attachments at a later date, when necessary. Thank you SteveH.

So, having made a complete buttock of an explanation, I at least hope that it helps in some small way.

Good health, Bill

My regards, Bill

Eric, you first need to host your piccies somewhere on't the interweb - I use tinypics. Once you have uploaded your picture onto tinypics, it'll give you a message board type link which you can drop straight into you post...

Not sure about Apple systems but on an android phone all you need to do is 're size the photo to the required kb using the Photo Editor" app. Blue icon. Then just post them via the attachment button below the text box.
