Title: Wiring diagram

Post by: Oldtimer on April 02, 2019, 02:19:44 PM: I have the workshop manual but it does not give any wiring diagram. I was particularly looking for the wire connections in the headlamp shell trying to find the wire from the the main beam indicator to the main beam wire. What colour is it?

Post by: iansoady on April 02, 2019, 04:06:41 PM: I've just had a quick look and the small wiring diagrams are useless. However, I did look at my SLR manual and the wire there is blue, which I think is a standard colour (with a green earth return).

I would probably just bypass whatever is there with a new blue wire......

However, in digging through a file I do have several copies that I had been gifted on an A3 size that is easily read which you are welcome to a copy - it will need to be posted to you although I may be able to scan and email as two A4 halves. The copies are in German/French but fortunately one is translated and that would be the one to scan unless you prefer otherwise!

Trusting the translated copy: The wires to the high beam tacho light are green & blue.

I think that's what I said......

Those are the standard Honda colours.
