I have a pdf manual - I can sort out the diagram page as a pdf for you.

Having said that, a quick look shows there isn't a single diagram but it's spread across the different systems - starting, charging etc. Which bit(s) do you want?

I have the workshop manual but it does not give any wiring diagram. I was particularly looking for the wire connections in the headlamp shell trying to find the wire from the the main beam indicator to the main beam wire. What colour is it?

I've just had a quick look and the small wiring diagrams are useless. However, I did look at my SLR manual and the wire there is blue, which I think is a standard colour (with a green earth return).

I would probably just bypass whatever is there with a new blue wire......

If I knew what colour the wire was without taking the rev counter off it would be easy

Maybe you'll just have to take it off......

I have the wiring diagram in the back of a standard owners manual but it is on an A5 sheet that is rather small to read. However, in digging through a file I do have several copies that I had been gifted on an A3 size that is easily read which you are welcome to a copy - it will need to be posted to you although I may be able to scan and email as two A4 halves. The copies are in German/French but fortunately one is translated and that would be the one to scan unless you prefer otherwise!

Trusting the translated copy: The wires to the high beam tacho light are green & blue.

I think that's what I said......

Those are the standard Honda colours.

Sorry if feeling offended - it was merely endorsing.

Not at all, it takes more than that to offend me. Some real experts have tried and failed......

All sorted, it was a blown bulb. Trying to get those little capless bulbs was a nightmare. They were either too big or too small.
Thanks for all your help on this silly matter.
