Title: Saddle refurb. - infor. wanted
Post by: mini-thumper on April 22, 2007, 07:37:51 PM
Does anyone have any contacts for having an SRX saddle re-built? The stuffing in mine has gone a bit thin and, not being the tallest bike in the world as standard, I want to gain a few inches (Don't go there!)

Any help most appreciated. I'm based in the East Midlands.

Same as SteveH. Those guys made Beryl's seat. Don't let the lack of padding on that put you off, I asked for it to be like that :-)

There is a chap in Pembroke dock that does mine - my last 2T saddle cost me 50 quid so I was happy with that and the job is a good one. I can probably look them up if you're interested

have all my seats done by a guy in Kings Lynn.....not quick...usually takes 3 - 4 weeks, but does a good job (i think) see pics of my #1 and #3 srx's in the piccy section
drop me a line if you want to persue it

Hi, not a refurb offer, but I have a nice srx seat fitted on a 600 (it's not std. but when I tried it I couldn't believe how comfy it was!)  well padded & worth trying?,  up for sale as the bike is going on the track & a solo race seat is going on.
Pop down to have a look if your'e interested. Remember where we live down in Chellaston, past the chinese shop?
