I'm frightened to ask ££££? If it is £££££? Then they are out the box. The Vinnie back end treatment is rather nice and far better than having a road muck/water stripe up your back. I wonder what it weighs? Seat height appears good.

I like it, moreso as I have a granddaughter called Ruby. However I too dread to think what sort of silly price will be attached to it. Wouldn't mind having a go on one though.

Yes, I like it too, but agree about the back end. I also expect there will be too many zeros in the price in all the wrong places for me....

Yes, not a bad looking mosheen but that rear mudguard thing and those dreadful silencer hanger bars/bracket rods.... sorry but they're just horrible. I'm sure there must have been away to make both items look a tad sweeter.

I did look over their site for FAQs or Guide Price, but no luck. Not that I'm really their market...until it's a few years old. I love the T140-type frame with the big spine, but I don't like how they've reflected that idea in the tank. I'm also not keen on the seat/hump, I feel it doesn't sit right on the bike. Like the Vincent swing-arm tho, and delighted to see someone giving it a go, though I worry for them (esp post-Brexit?).

Yes... absolutely good luck to them, I genuinely hope the project takes off for them. Just not keen on the rear end as far as a styling exercise goes... sorry

I put myself on their mailing list last year as I liked what they were up to.... and here's the latest missive from them .... detailing latest changes.... still no mention of price, but I seem to remember when first proposed they were aiming to come in at under £10k... so well adrift on price compared to Chinese stuff, but at least id 'brit iron'

straight from 'the horse's mouth', here's the news from Mac HQ.
At the risk of repeating ourselves, (I blame our advancing years and too much grub made in aluminium cooking-pots), we have contracted with SWM, in Italy, for the supply of their 600cc engine. The 'DNA' of this engine lies in Husqvarna's TE engine, affectionately nicknamed the 'red top'. The specs can be found here ; http://www.mac-motorcycles.com/the-ruby/
We've spent most of this year riding the prototype and garnering feedback from events. As a result, we've made some improvements to 'Ruby', the model that is shown on the website. Here's what we've done ;
• The battery has been moved into the hump, behind the seat, which means you can see through from one side of the bike to the other now. Access to it is just as simple.
• The frame has become much simpler to manufacture and both torsional stiffness and riding experience have improved as a result.
• Many ladies told us that the seat needed improving so both the shape and upholstery are much-improved.
• For the rear mudguard-haters, we've designed a hugger to replace it and repositioned the mounting for the rear light, indicators and number-plate.
• Ruby's silencers are a little more upswept for a more dynamic look and, in doing so, it's easier to remove the rear wheel.
• The air-box will move and be mounted on the main frame 'backbone' tube, making routine maintenance a doddle now.
• And, after a 'fondle behind the bike shed', 'Ruby' now has a sibling - watch this space...
The rest of our year has been nailing-down the supply-chain and the most important 'stuff' is made here, in Blighty, by best-of-breed manufacturers.

Morning Steve. Sounds like they've addressed the rear mudguard and in sweeping up the zorsts most likely addressed the "brackets" too. Look forward to having a look at the new improved version. Oh and it's sibling.
