Browsing on fleabag I came across this (rather lovely looking) machine
On looking closer, I realised that it's a bike I restored in 2006 and still looking as good as when I did it. (Omg am I losing the plot or what?)
They are asking nearly twice as much as I sold it for in 2008!
There was some discussion recently about bike prices etc. I think this could be added to that same debate.

A lovely looking SR Ian - is that the same bike that featured in a Yamaha SR400 / 500 buyers guide in Classic Mechanics years back? Looks familiar.
Speaking of bike values perhaps I should have held on to my mint low mileage 1982 R80G/S and Moto Guzzi Mk2 Le Mans both sold around 2008!!

Yes Tony the very same bike. You have a great memory....it won "The Practical Classic" award at Stafford. I was presented the award by that the very likeable Rod Gibson, sadly no longer with us.
